“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom. ” -Viktor Frankl

Welcome

There are many reasons to reach out for help and very few of them result in easy or comfortable decisions. However, it does show a great amount of strength and courage and it’s the first step in a commitment to positive change. Working together to identify the areas concerning you, developing strategies to address them, and then implementing those strategies. I utilize a collaborative style and find that this approach helps lead to positive results. Thus, it’s of the utmost importance to me that you feel safe, understood, and accepted. Research continually shows us that the therapeutic relationship is the strongest predictor of therapy outcomes. I offer a free, 15-minute phone consultation so we can begin to see if we would be a good fit working together. I encourage everyone to consider this research while they are looking at different options and talking to different providers. Whether we decide to work together or you choose someone else, it’s important to establish a good working relationship.

While I utilize evidence-based practices (therapies/strategies that research has shown work for specific presenting issues), I tailor each client’s therapy experience to their unique needs. I frequently check in to see how the process is going and am always open to ongoing feedback. I strive to create an environment that promotes feelings of acceptance, healing, growth, and respect. If this sounds like a good fit for you, click on the “Schedule a consult” button and fill out your information and I will get back to you within 48 business hours. Thank you for visiting.
